SK - Sports Complex & Anchorvale CC

Hi there! Has anyone gone for a dip at the new pool? Some info and pixs to share when I was at the new Sports Complex on Saturday. It was located at Anchorvale Road and was opened to public on 15 July 08. Anchorvale Community Club was situated besides it too.. So great! We wake up quite late on a saturday morning for a jog , around 6.30am. Not soon after our breakfast at about 10.30am, we went for a swim.
The area is very huge, very much like jurong west east pools with 1 olympic sized pool, 1 training pool- sheltered, water rather cold even on a hot afternoon! not sure why???, water playground pool for children and 1 slide pool. The slides were very fun. Unfortunately pro-shop and eating outlets were all in progress.. Those children really enjoyed themselves!

For those interested to get there, though it is rather remote, its located beside Anchorvale Community Centre, short walking distance from LRT (Farmway station) and Bus 372 from Sengkang Interchange (alight @ anchorvale link)
