2008 Ending Soon

Hi friends!!! My colleague, carol had just left for her trip to Yunnan, part of the china.. Wow....Scenic country! Envy.... hehehehe........ She is such a thoughtful gal becos she remembered her sister's birthday and quickly went to buy a cake just to hold a celebration before she left for her vacation trip. How I wish I have a sibling like her.... In fact I had but somehow seems transparent to me... haiz....................... anyway, forget it la.... I still have my darling and a few close friends...... heeheehee.. already contented... Hey, year 2008 is ending soon so what have u archived so far and what are your new wishes for the approaching new year?????? For achievement, apparently I never achieve anything so far... hahahaha...... Wishes???? Many Many... hehehe..... I wanna to have a family of my own, be someone parent.. Stay happily with the closest important people in my life, that is my Darling and my Mummy.. Hope their health is as strong as a rock. Happily forever!!

Party Has been Scaled Down

Wa lau leh!!! Received email today that our forthcoming Retail Party will be scaled down to that Staff Communication Session cum dinner buffet @ Gotham. That means there will be no theme, no lucky draw, no MC/programme. Instead, there will be door gifts... hai yo!!! There will be a Staff Communication Session by our new CEO. Sure recapping about our company wage cut actions..........Anyway it was announced in the email that the wage cut is applicable to all staff. In addition, bonus is still reviewing. The world is facing downturn & even for a christmas tree becos it was being displayed upside down in Metro at Compass Point!! haiz....................

Received announcement that due to unforeseen circumstances, the Christmas “Building For Our Future at CapitaLand Malls 2008” project has been cancelled. As such, they no longer need volunteers. hai yo...... was wondering what had happened..

Condolences to the Family of Lawyer Lo Hwei Yen and the Puhaindran Family

Few days after returning from my trip, I was so shocked when I heard of the terrorist strikes in Mumbai, i thought to myself “this madness has begun again!! I found out that there was a Singaporean hostage who had died in the terrorist attack! When the news rolled out, i was greeted with another shock. The hostage was a fellow lawyer and she was the same age as me. She was so young and pretty and was married just last year and should be expecting a bright and interesting future until the terrorist cruelly took her away! She was fatally shot on the 17th floor of the Oberoi Trident Hotel in Mumbai. Life is really unfair!

Her parting is tragic and will be sadly miss from all of us and her family. Tough I may not know her, but my heart is bleeding to know that such a young life of her taken in cruel way. I was very sadden of her parting. No words can describe the pain and anguish of this loss in such a a manner.

Our deepest condolences to the family and husband of Ms Lo. May she rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. With profound saddness and sympathy.

Just when i was complaining of a burdensome workload in the light of so many actions and awful family. This is a little reminder to me of how much more fortunate i am. This fragility of life is something all of us have to bear in mind. To remember not to waste time, to care for the things that matter, to do what is right, to take time to smell the flowers, to pursue your happiness, and to live life to the fullest.
